SMS Consent & Messaging Terms

Last updated: December 15, 2025 • Applies to transactional messages, passwordless login, and OTP/verification codes.

Who this applies to

ProcessPal LLC ("ProcessPal," "we," "us") provides a messaging and authentication service that may be used by ProcessPal products and by third-party websites and applications that integrate ProcessPal (each, a "Client"). This page explains the consent and disclosures that apply when you choose to receive text messages related to your account and transactions.

Depending on the product you are using, messages may be sent by a Client directly or sent by ProcessPal on the Client's behalf as a service provider.

What you are consenting to (transactional / authentication only)

By providing your mobile phone number and taking an action that requests a message (for example, selecting "Send code," "Text me a login link," or enabling text notifications in your account settings), you consent to receive automated text messages from the applicable Client and/or ProcessPal that are strictly transactional and/or authentication-related, such as:

  • One-time passcodes (OTP) or verification codes
  • Passwordless login links or login confirmations
  • Account security alerts (e.g., sign-in attempts, password resets, account changes)
  • Transaction or service updates you request (e.g., confirmations, reminders, status updates)

This consent is intended to match the informational/transactional use case. It does not authorize promotional or marketing texts. If a Client offers marketing messages, you will be asked to opt in to that separately.

Message frequency and timing

Message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences.

  • Authentication messages are typically sent per login or verification request.
  • Transactional updates are sent when you request them or when your transaction/status changes.

Costs

Standard message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for SMS/MMS and data usage. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. After you opt out, you may receive one final message confirming your opt-out request.

Note: opting out may prevent you from receiving OTPs or passwordless login links by text. If the Client offers alternative sign-in methods, you may be able to use those instead.

Privacy

ProcessPal uses your phone number to send the messages you request and to help secure your account. For more information about ProcessPal's privacy practices, please review our Privacy Policy.

If you are using a Client website or application, the Client's privacy policy may also apply to the Client's collection and use of your phone number and related account/transaction data.

Copy‑paste opt‑in language for Client websites

If you operate a website/app that uses ProcessPal for passwordless login or OTP verification, this is sample opt-in language you can use on your sign-in/verification screens so the opt-in clearly matches the transactional/authentication use case.

Suggested consent text (transactional/authentication):

“By providing your phone number and requesting a code, you agree to receive automated text messages from [ClientName] and/or its service provider ProcessPal LLC for account access and security, including one-time passcodes (OTP), passwordless login links, and other account or transaction updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See process-pal.com/consent and our Privacy Policy.”
